"Failed to get archived directory" message occurring while upgrading software online

Whenever a new version of the software becomes available, an upgrade must be done to update the existing install of the software to the new version. This is normally done by running the 'Upgrade Software Online' option from the Help menu.

When the 'Upgrade Software Online' process is being run to upgrade to a new version of the software, the message 'Failed to get archived directory' can appear during the upgrade process. If this message occurs then exit from the upgrade process and try running the online upgrade again.
