Error 1098: "R&R Reportwriter abnormal viewer termination" (New Zealand)

Payslips can be printed to plain A4 paper or to specially purchased payslip forms. The MYOB A4 Security payslips are designed to be printed to A4 Security payslip forms sold by MYOB.

When printing the Payslip - MYOB A4 Security report, a message such as "error 1098 R&R Reportwriter abnormal viewer termination" or similar may appear. This error is often caused by a setting in the report or the interruption of the report creation process.

When this message or similar appears, the following options can be tried:

• Check the Setup Printer option. Tick or untick this option depending on its currently setting.
• Do not cancel the report during the creation process and let the report complete printing.
