Error 1542: "Base table fields have been changed and no longer match view fields"

When using the software and printing reports, the following error can occur - "Error 1542 Base table fields have been changed and no longer match view fields". This error is advising that the information stored in the tables no longer matches what it is expected to be.

To correct this error a File Reindex must be run from the Utilities menu.

To correct the error
  1. When this error occurs click on the "Ignore Error" button till the errors disappear.
  2. Exit from any screens to return to the main screen of the software.
  3. Click on the Utilities menu then select File Reindex.
  4. Make sure any other users are out of the software then click OK.
  5. Confirm the Backup Options are correct then click Backup.
    When the backup completes the reindex will proceed. Once the reindex is completed then click OK. Now that you are back at the main screen of the software you can retry what was being done when the error originally occurred.
