Compliance release 2013–2014 (Australia)
The 2013 - 2014 Exo Employer Services 2013.01 compliance release (AU) is available towards the end of June. The following is a guide on what steps to take when updating Exo Employer Services this year.
There have been changes to the payment summary form and we’re ensuring Exo Employer Services is updated to handle them. This only affects some businesses, and if you're one of them, you'll need to install the Exo Employer Services version 2013.01 compliance update before preparing your employees' payment summaries.
As the ETP changes have been applied retroactively to the entire 2012–2013 payroll year, any employee terminations entered containing ETP's for the 2012–2013 year prior to the installation of MYOB Exo Employer Services will need to be updated to the new format before they can be submitted electronically to the ATO.
The following steps will take you through the recommended method of updating Exo Employer Services this year.
- Step 1: Installing the 2013 Exo Employer Services compliance release
- Step 2: Run the ETP financial year update utility
- Step 3: Process End Of Year tasks, using the EOY checklist
