Error: "Printer not ready"

In Exo Payroll, errors can occur when printing reports due to different reasons such as printers not being turned on, printers not being connected to the pc or network, Windows not recognising the printer as being active or available, etc.

If a 'Printer not Ready' error message occurs when printing reports, this is due to the software being advised by Windows that the printer is not ready for the printing request from the software.

The following can assist with resolving this situation:

  • Check the printer is turned on and is working ok
  • Exit the software then restart the software and try reprinting the report
  • Restart the pc then try printing the report
  • Run the network.exe file - click here for further information on this process
