Synchronising MyStaffInfo and message "The operation timed out" appears

The message "The operation timed out" can occur during synchonisation. The synchronisation requires access to the MyStaffInfo server and if that link to the MyStaffInfo server is unable to be completed or the connection times out, the message occurs.

This error occurs during the fourth item of the synchronisation process. This means that the synchronisation has not been able to communicate with the MyStaffInfo server to complete transfer of the necessary information. When the error occurs, please contact MYOB Exo Support for further assistance.

To check the MyStaffInfo connection settings
  1. Go to the MyStaffInfo Management Console in Exo Payroll (log into company > Pay menu > Exo MyStaffInfo).
  2. In the Common Tasks menu select Preferences then click on "View/Edit the Mystaffinfo connection settings".
  3. Check that the settings are as shown below:
