STP submission fails with error: "CMN.ATO.GEN.OK" (Australia)

On version 2022.01, submitting an STP batch could cause an error message to appear, even though the submission was successful:

The pay event data submission to ATO was failed with the following message.

Text: Message accepted
Detail:
Error Code: CMN.ATO.GEN.OK

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in version 2022.02. Submitting a new batch in version 2022.02 won't cause an error.

You don't need to resubmit batches you submitted in 2022.01, even though the Resubmit button is available. If you do click the Resubmit button, a different error occurs. You can ignore this error.
