Stopping the message "HPENT does not match Current Year Gross" when trying to process a termination pay (New Zealand)

Holiday Pay Groups are used by MYOB EXO Payroll to enable automatic changes in an employee's holiday pay entitlement based on their service with the company. As many Holiday Pay Groups as required can be created in the software then they are added to the employees as appropriate.

Processing of a termination pay for an employee in MYOB EXO Payroll is done through the Holiday Pay screen in the Leave Management section of either a One Off Pay or a Current Pay. During the processing of a termination pay, the message 'The HPENT Gross does not match the Current Year gross!' may appear.

This message is related to a Holiday Pay Group having been assigned to an employee in their Holiday Pay tab.

To resolve this situation the Holiday Pay Group would need to be removed from the Holiday Pay tab for this employee. When the Group is removed from the employee record, a warning message will appear to confirm that the Group is to be deleted. Click on Yes then check the employee's Holiday Pay screen to confirm that the leave balances are correct.

After removing the Holiday Pay Group, the termination pay should be able to proceed without this message appearing.
