Changing employee setup for accruing rostered days off (Australia)

When an employee who is entitled to Rostered Days Off (RDO's) change their normal working hours you may need to change their RDO hours to reflect the total hours to accrue.

To change rostered days off (RDO)
  1. From the main menu go to File > Open employee or click the Edit Employee icon
  2. Select the employee
  3. Go to the Other tab > click on the Rostered Days Off button
  4. Tick the "Track RDO's for this employee" box.
  5. Check "RDO Rate (per hour)" is correct.
  6. Check the "Do not accrue on hours more than (per pay period)" field and enter the total hours that your employee will now be working (e.g.: 39 hours)
  7. In the Standard Hours per Day put in the new hours the employee will now do (e.g.: 7.8 hours per day - 5 day week)
  8. Click Save:F10
  9. Go to the Employee Details screen and in the Hours Per Pay Period field change the total hours the employee will be working, e.g. 24 hours.
  10. Click Save:F10
