Rostered days off for employees with varying hours (Australia)

Rostered Days Off (RDO) can be accrued by some employees in an organisation. At times an employees hours may vary. In MYOB Exo Payroll the system will pro rata the hours accordingly but, if you still want to pay out the minimum hours to accrue regardless of the hours an employee works this will then need to be done manually per pay.

To manually enter the minimum RDO hours to accrue
  1. From the main menu go to File > Open Employee or click the Edit Employee icon .
  2. Go to the Other tab > click on Rostered Days Off
  3. Tick the Track RDO's for this Employee option
  4. In the Total RDO hours available put in the total hours to accrue
  5. Save: F10
