Getting an error 1300 when printing reports

When printing reports there are different options and selection ranges that can affect the information being displayed. Errors that may occur when printing reports can be caused due to the options and selection ranges being used.

An error 1300 message can occur because a selection range setting in the report screen includes a special character, such as an '. Special characters can cause software to generate errors because the special character interrupts the normal process of the software, such as when creating a report.

When an error 1300 occurs during the creation of a report the selection ranges need to be checked. If a selection range item is entered that contains a special character (see screenshot below) then that selection range needs to be changed, such as using an employee code rather than employee alpha.
