Getting Westpac to accept a direct credit file (New Zealand)

In this article we cover setting up Direct Credit file for Westpac.

Westpac have several formats for the direct credit file to be created in including Deskbank and Corporate Online. In previous versions of MYOB Exo Payroll software, clients who were using Westpac's Corporate Online software to transfer the file to the bank were often using the Westpac Deskbank format.

Direct Credit Transfer Setup

Any Clients who create a direct credit file using a Westpac format, and have had that file rejected by the Westpac banking software, should change the Direct Credit Format to the appropriate Westpac format such as Westpac Corporate Online.

Once the Direct Credit Format has been changed then recreate the file and try sending that new file through the Westpac software.
