Synchronising MyStaffInfo and a message "Could not download MyStaffInfo information" appears

The message can occur at any time during the synchronisation process. This means that the synchronisation has not been able to communicate with the MyStaffInfo server to complete transfer of the necessary information. When the error occurs, please contact MYOB Exo Support for further assistance.

To check the MyStaffInfo connection settings
  1. Go to the MyStaffInfo Management Console in Exo Payroll (log into company > Pay menu > Exo MyStaffInfo).
  2. In the Common Tasks menu select Preferences then click on "View/Edit the Mystaffinfo connection settings".
  3. Check that the settings are shown correctly for the website being used (see old MSI website example below):
  4. Check with the MSI Website Administrators that the company has been setup on the website.
