MyStaffInfo synchronisation process failing at step 4

The MyStaffInfo Management Console is an application that links MYOB Exo Payroll with the MyStaffInfo website. The Console is used to upload information, such as Leave Balances, from MYOB Exo Payroll to the website while downloading information such as Leave Requests from the website to MYOB Exo Payroll.

The synchronisation process in the MyStaffInfo Management Console has multiple steps to transfer information between the MYOB Exo Payroll and the MyStaffInfo website. During this process Step 4 may not be able to complete the transfer of data.


When Step 4 is unable to complete, a change to the settings in the Preferences section of the MyStaffInfo Console can be done as detailed below.

To change settings in the MyStaffInfo console
  1. In the MyStaffInfo Management Console, click on the Preferences item in the Common Tasks box
  2. Click on "View/Edit the MyStaffInfo connection settings"
  3. Find the line that says "UseCompression=True"
  4. Change the line so that it says "UseCompression=False"
  5. Click on the Save button
  6. Once the changed settings have been saved then go to Synchronise and repeat the synchronisation process.
