Error 1806: "SQL Column is not found"

When a new version of the MYOB Exo Employer Services software is installed over an existing installation of the software, an upgrade of the existing data is performed. This upgrade process updates the data and the structures of the tables of the existing installation to match the new version.

There are times when an upgrade is unable to make all of the changes required during the upgrade process. In this situation, an "Error 1806 SQL Column is not found" message can occur when using the MYOB Exo Employer Services software.

When an "Error 1806 SQL Column is not found" message occurs, even if an upgrade has not been done recently, a 'Force Upgrade' needs to be performed so that the tables and structures can be corrected.

Click here for guidance through running a 'Force Upgrade'.
