Error: "Program Error – UNC Path Network Sharing"

When running MYOB Exo Employer Services software across a network, using a mapped network drive on the pc's to access the software is the best method. The mapped drive setup allows the pc to 'see' that location on the server as a specific drive on the pc and use the files contained within that location, similar to the C drive of the pc.

Upgrading or installing MYOB Exo Employer Services software from a client pc within a network situation, using a mapped network drive to a server, may not proceed on a Windows Vista pc unless the mapped drive exists under the Administrator profile. When using Windows Vista as the operating system, the following message may be encountered while trying to install or upgrade: "Program Error - UNC Path Network Sharing"

This situation may also occur on Windows 7 PCs as well.
