Installing or upgrading the public holiday loader (New Zealand)

MYOB EXO Payroll has been designed to handle the paying of Public Holidays. To pay the Public Holiday, this is done for each employee in the pay for that period.

The Public Holiday Loader application has been created to simplify the processing of Public Holidays and complements the MYOB EXO Payroll software. The application is installed into the MYOB EXO Payroll software and is run from the Special menu.

To install or upgrade the public holiday loader
  1. Determine the MYOB EXO Payroll directory location.
    Note: This can be done by logging into a company in the Payroll software then go to the Help menu and choose About. The "Installed In:" field shows the locatin and name of the folder.

  2. Download and save the file from the link above.
  3. When the download has finished the computer should ask if you wish to run this file. If it does not ask, locate the file through Windows Explorer then double click on it. Click on Run to start the Install Wizard.

    Installing on a computer should be done using the Windows Administrator profile.
  4. Choose Next on the Welcome screen.
  5. Enter the Destination Folder determined in Step 1 for the installation. The destination can be changed by choosing the Browse button. Select Next when ready.
  6. Click Next on the final screen to start the installation.
  7. Once the install has completed then click Finish.
  8. Start the MYOB EXO Payroll software then log into your payroll company to use the Public Holiday Loader.

    To access the Public Holiday Loader, click on the Special menu then select the Public Holiday Loader.
