Error 15: "xxxx is not a table/dbf"

An "Error 15 xxxx is not a table/dbf" occurs while a user is in the software. This error means that the file named in the error is corrupted and cannot be recovered. Other files in the software may also be corrupted depending on what occurred to corrupt the file specified in the message.

Options to fix this error

  • Ignore past the errors until you are back to the payroll company then go through the process to restore a backup that was taken prior to the event that has caused the errors to occur. Click here for help to restore.
  • If the entire software directory is backed up or copied to another location then that copy/backup can be recovered, replacing the problem install.

Once the restore has been done or the directory recovered you will be able to continue working but will have to redo any work that had been done since the backup/copy was originally taken.
