Error 230: "Array Dimensions Are Invalid"

In the MYOB Exo Software, reports are printed to the printer selected. When the report prints, the printer driver installed on the PC controls the printing. If there is a problem with the printer driver, errors can occur when printing.

Normally an "Error 230 Array Dimensions Are Invalid" message occurs only when printing reports. When an "Error 230" message appears, it is often caused by either of the following reasons:

  • The printer driver is missing from the Windows Printers list
  • There is a fault with the printer driver

If an "Error 230" message appears when printing, try the options detailed below:

  • Try a different printer to see if the error occurs
  • Click on the Exit Software button, restart the payroll software then try printing the report to see if the error reoccurs.
  • Reboot the PC to allow Windows to reset the printer drivers. Start the payroll software then try the report again to see what happens.
  • If the error continues, it is possible that the printer driver has become corrupted. Try uninstalling the printer driver, reboot the pc then reinstall the printer driver.

Once the reinstall has completed then start the payroll software and try printing the report.
