Installing and registering EXO Employer Services

MYOB Exo Employer Services software can be installed on a local computer or on a server. New installs of the software will also require the installation of registration files.

Installing EXO Employer Services

You can get links to the EXO Employer Services installation files by downloading the document attached below. The document also covers the installation process in detail. To download the document, simply click it.

To install EXO Employer Services
  1. Download the appropriate install file then run that file, following the on-screen instructions.

    The installation should be done using the Windows Administrator profile.
  2. Ensure that the correct Destination Folder is selected.

    If a new module is being added to an existing install, ensure that the Destination Folder is set to the existing product installation.
  3. When the Select Components screen appears, select the modules that are to be installed. If a new module is being added to an existing installation then the existing modules will show as selected. Leave the ticks in these existing modules and tick the new modules to be installed.

  4. If the new location is on a server:

    1. Share the folder then setup the Windows users with full permission access to the folder.

    2. On each computer that will be accessing this folder, set up mapped network drives then run network.exe to setup the computer to run the software.

Registering EXO Employer Services

Fresh installations of the MYOB Exo Employer Services software will require registration files to be installed. Installing a new module to an existing installation will also require the installation of new registration files.

Do not attempt to open these files as doing so may cause corruption of the details contained in the files.

To register EXO Employer Services
  1. Save the registration files from the email to the same location as the MYOB Exo Employer Services products.

  2. If prompted to overwrite any files, select Yes to All.

  3. Restart the software then check the registration screen to confirm the changes.
