Error 1924: "TOPAYENTITY is not an object" (Australia)

When paying an employee any Annual Leave, the rate to be used is calculated from the employee's Standard Pay. This rate can be affected by the Liabilities settings of the items in that Standard Pay.

An "Error 1924 TOPAYENTITY is not an object" message can occur when accessing Annual Leave through Leave Management in a Current or One Off Pay. This error is due to how a setting in the software has been configured.

As this setting cannot be accessed from any screen in the payroll software, the following options are available:

  • Ignore the errors till you get to the Annual Leave screen then enter the hours of leave to be paid. If the amount is not as expected then that amount can be overwritten.

This means that each time Annual Leave is to be paid the error 1924 will occur.
  • Contact MYOB Exo Support for assistance to reconfigure the setting that is contributing to the Error 1924 message.
