Known issue: Password field in employee maintenance too small for MyStaffInfo passwords

The following issue has been identified and replicated by MYOB Exo Support in Exo Payroll and MyStaffInfo for both the Australia version 2017.04 and New Zealand version 2017.03.

Issue

Support have confirmed that when employees change their passwords on MyStaffInfo to be greater than 10 digits, following the criteria specified in the Website Administrator login, after synchronising the password stored in Exo Payroll is only the first 10 digits.

When a subsequent synchronisation is done then the employee cannot logon to the MyStaffInfo website or access their payslips using their new password as the password is only 10 digits long and not their full length new password.

Workaround

Change the maximum length allowed for new passwords to 10 in the Website Administrator login.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed to Product Development under Service Request 146972566540 for resolution in a future release.
