Known issue 2014.02 (resolved): Trial balance report printing incorrectlly when sort order 1 is set to cost centre (Australia)

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Exo Employer Services Support in Exo Payroll version 2014.02 for Australia.

Issue

Support has confirmed that when the Trial Balance report has the Sort Order 1 set to Cost Centre, some clients will find that the report is not printing as it used to. For those affected clients, the report is not showing all employees who were paid earnings under a cost centre in a single block on the report as printed in previous versions. The report is now showing a cost centre with an employee, another cost centre with that same employee then it repeats the process with another employee.

This also means that the report is not able to show totals for each Cost Centre.

Workaround

Restore a backup of the company data to a previous version of Exo Payroll, if a copy of a previous version exists, so that the report can be printed in that older version. If an upgrade is requested after the restore has been done then delete the environ.dbf file that is found in the Payroll folder then restart the payroll software. Restarting the software will recreate then environ.dbf file and the upgrade will not occur.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed through to Product Development via parent ticket 18844266599 and has been resolved in version 2014.04
