Known issue (resolved): Unable to print payslips from step 4 of the payslip-emailing wizard report

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in Exo Payroll NZ version 2012.02.

Issue

Support has confirmed that when trying to print payslips from Step 4 of the Payslip - Emailing Wizard report, the payslips do not print.

When a user tries to print payslips from Step 4 with the Setup Printer option unticked then the Printing Completed message appears but nothing appears in the printing queue or at the printer.

If the same process is followed with the Setup Printer option ticked then the user gets an "Error 1098 R&R Report Writer 6 Abnormal Viewer Termination" message appearing.

Workaround

In Step 4 of the Payslip - Emailing Wizard report, change the Destination to Screen, click on the Print button then when the report previews to the screen click on the Printer button in the Toolbar to have the payslips print to the default printer.

Resolution

Assigned to Product Development to be resolved in a future release. This is resolved in version 2014.02.
