Known issue 2015.01: Holiday Pay amount differs to Reduce Salary amount when Holiday Pay is in Hours (New Zealand)
The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Exo Employer Services Support in the New Zealand release of Exo Payroll version 2015.01.
Issue
Support has confirmed that, when Holiday Pay is being paid in Hours and a salaried employee is being paid Holiday Pay at the Standard Pay rate, the amount of Holiday Pay paid in a pay can differ from the amount being shown in the Reduce column of the Reduce Salary screen.
If the Salary in the pay is reduced by the Reduce figure then the Gross Earnings of the pay can differ from what is expected.
Workaround
When the Reduce Salary screen appears, alter the "Reduce Salary by" field to be the same figure as the Paid column is showing.
If the Reduce Salary screen has already been closed then manually alter the Salary figure in the pay.
Resolution
This issue has been progressed through to Product Management via parent ticket 115463823463 for resolution in a future release.
