Known issue 2015.01: "Balance of Pay" account not appearing correctly in a one-off pay when standard pay isn't copied (Australia)
The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Exo Employer Services Support in the Australian release of Exo Payroll version 2015.01.
Issue
If an employee's Standard Pay has more than one bank account setup, when a One Off Pay is created with the 'Copy Standard Pay' option set to No then the How Paid screen shows the bank account that has the Priority = 1, even though the message says that the 'Balance of Pay' setting will be used.
This means that if the 'Balance of Pay' account has Priority = 1 then it will be shown in the How Paid screen but if a 'Fixed Dollar' account has Priority = 1 then that account will appear in the How Paid screen of the One Off Pay instead.
Workaround
Below are the options for this situation:
- Set the 'Copy Standard Pay' option to Yes then make the necessary changes to what is being processed in the One Off Pay
- Set the Priority of the Balance of Pay account to 1
- Manually correct the account in the How Paid of the One Off Pay.
Resolution
This issue has been progressed through to Product Management via parent ticket 125988487263 for resolution in a future release.
