Known issue 2016.01 (resolved): Unpaid leave notes using the "Alternative Leave Worked" note type for salaried employees (New Zealand)

The following issue has been identified and replicated by MYOB Support in the New Zealand release of Exo Employer Services version 2016.01.

Issue

Support have confirmed that when a Salaried employee is having Unpaid Leave processed in a pay and the 'Reduce Salary' button has been used, after the pay has been updated the Note that appears in the employee's Notes tab is showing the 'Alternative Leave Worked' Note Type instead of the 'Unpaid Leave' Note Type.

Workaround

Manually change the Note Type from 'Alternative Leave Worked' to 'Unpaid Leave'.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed to Product Development via parent ticket 131362813318 and resolved in version 2016.03.
