Known issue 2017.04: Unable to enter decimal figures when adding an allowance to an employee in pay period times

The following issue has been identified by MYOB Exo Support in Exo Time and Attendance for both Australia and New Zealand version 2017.04.

Issue

Support have confirmed that when adding an allowance manually to an employee in Pay Period Times, only whole numbers can be entered.

If the allowance has been selected for the employee in Employee Maintenance and the setup of the Allowance has the 'Round Hour Totals' unticked, the allowance can automatically calculate decimal figures based on the details in the pay.

Workaround

Go to Employees, select the employee then go to the Allowances button and select the allowance. This will allow the allowance to automatically calculate the figures, including decimals, based on the setup of the allowance and the details in Pay Period Times.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed to Product Development under Service Request 154083058388 for resolution in a future release.
