Known issue: Allowance code can be deleted after it has been used in a current pay (New Zealand)

The following issue has been identified and replicated by MYOB Support in the New Zealand release of EXO Employer Services affecting all versions from 2015.01 to date.

Issue

An allowance that has been used in the software for another employee should not be deleted and the software should display the following message:

Image

It has been identified that where an allowance has only been added to a current pay and not part of a Standard Pay the user can delete the allowance after the pay has been updated and the above message does not display.

The Allowance History report will show the allowance value with the name displayed as .NU.NULL.

Workaround

The allowance can be re added with the original code created and this will reinstate the allowance and show correctly in the Allowance History report.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed to Product Development under Service Request 137452073353 for resolution in a future release.
