Known issue 2015.01: Unpaid leave hours calculating a daily rate if annual leave is set to calculate days (Australia)

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Exo Employer Services Support in the Australian Exo Payroll version 2015.01.

Issue

Unpaid Leave only works in hours however Annual Leave may have historically been set to use Days.

When Annual Leave has been set to calculate in Days, the system calculates a daily rate for Unpaid Leave even though it has been set to work in hours, e.g. Entering 8 hours of Unpaid Leave would calculate an amount equivalent to 8 days.

Workaround

Continue to use the same setup of units for leave. When entering Unpaid Leave and the Reduce Salary screen comes up, manually adjust the 'Reduce Salary By' box to reflect an hourly rate.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed through to Product Management via parent ticket 119951169528 for resolution in a future release.
