Known issue 2016.01: Non-taxable allowance adding to gross for Kiwisaver (New Zealand)

The following issue has been identified and replicated by MYOB Support in the New Zealand 2016.01 release of EXO Employer Services.

Issue

Prior to the 2016.01 release of NZ EXO Payroll, when a Non-Taxable Allowance was created, the 'Add to gross for Kiwisaver' option was unticked and greyed out by default.

Following the 2016.01 update this option was ticked by default for the non-taxable allowances only when creating a new allowance or changing an existing taxable allowance to non-taxable.

Workaround

Ensure the option 'Add to gross for Kiwisaver' is unticked in the allowance maintenance options when adding or changing a non-taxable allowance.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed to Product Development under Service Request 137389317224 for resolution in a future release.
