Known issue 2018.10: Employee with no gross figures but an ESCT amount is excluded from the Payday Filing El file (New Zealand)

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Exo Employer Services Support in the New Zealand release of Exo Payroll version 2018.10.

Issue

Support has confirmed that when an employee has no Gross earnings but has an ESCT figure, the employee is being excluded from the Payday Filing EI file.

This can be due to the employer continuing to process employer Kiwisaver or superannuation contributions in the Payroll even though there are no Gross earnings.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed through to Product Management via parent ticket 169887921786 for resolution in an upcoming release.
