Known issue (resolved): User defined leave types not reducing salary by the value of a day (New Zealand)

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in Exo Payroll version 2013.01.

Issue

User Defined leave types valued as Sick Pay, where sick pay is in 'Days', when paid will reduce salary as an hour value not a day value if 'Calculate Sick Pay Amount for Salaried employees' is turned on.

Workaround

  • Manually adjust the Reduce figure to a days value each time.
  • Set the user defined leave types to value as holiday pay value instead of sick leave.
  • Untick the setup option to calculate the value of sick leave.
