Known issue 2012.01: Reporting inconsistency after upgrade (New Zealand)

Issue

This upgrade reduced the ACC Earner Levy rate from 2.04% to 1.7%, effective from 1 April 2012 which means from April, most employees will have slightly lower PAYE and a corresponding Increase in Net Pay. This change (and consequent Net Pay increase) appears in Current Pays and in the Employee Maintenance record (Standard Pay Tab) when pays have been processed in April and beyond.

  • The Payroll Audit Report still shows the OLD figures (i.e. lower net pay)
  • The old figures still appear in the Preview" screen (via the "View Employee Details Standard Pay" icon at Top Right of "Current pay" screen)

Workaround

Figures appear correctly in all locations for an employee after clicking "Save" in their "Employee Maintenance record". The same "Save" can be triggered for all employees by using F7 or F8 keys to navigate thru the entire range of records this is best done from Standard Pay tab.

Resolution

Service Management Record 11952134055 has been raised for this issue and was resolved in version 2015.02.
