Known issue 2014.02 (resolved): Incorrect rounding applied when reversing wage hours where the amount is greater than $-9999.99

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Exo Employer Services Support in Exo Payroll version 2014.02 for both Australia and New Zealand.

Issue

Support has confirmed that when Wages are being reversed where the Amount is greater than $-9999.99, the cents figure is incorrect as it has been rounded to the nearest 10 cent figure.

Example: Process -70 hours of wages at an Hourly Rate of $153.8641. The Wages screen should show $-10770.49 but the actual figure being shown in $-10770.5.

This situation is because the Wages are being processed as negatives which is impacting on what can be entered due to the size of the Amount field in the Wages table.

Workaround

Process individual Wage lines where the Amount does not exceed $-9999.99 in each line.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed through to Product Management via parent ticket 111568677396 for resolution in a future release and was resolved in version 2015.01.
