Known issue 2017.04: Negative pre-tax deduction amounts not showing correctly due to field size and incorrect rounding (Australia)

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Exo Employer Services Support in the Australian release of Exo Payroll version 2017.04.

Issue

Support has confirmed that when a negative amount greater than -9999.99 is entered in a Pre-Tax Deduction then the figures that appear in some screens and reports can be shown incorrectly.

Due to the size of the field in the Pay table, the negative amount can be rounded so that an incorrect figure appears, e.g. -11238.08 can appear in reports and some screens as 11238.10.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed through to Product Management via parent ticket 156844128222 for resolution in a future release.
