Known issue 2015.01: Negative annual leave accrual in a pay with zero hours paid (Australia)

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Exo Employer Services Support in the Australian release of Exo Payroll version 2015.01.

Issue

Support has confirmed that, when using the new Leave Management screens, a negative Annual Leave accrual can occur for employees in pays where the Hours Paid field is showing as 0.

The negative accrual can impact on the employee's Annual Leave figures, especially in the leave year that the pay was dated for, as well as appearing in the General Ledger report.

Workaround

If the employee's leave balance has been altered then is can be manually corrected. If the information in the General Ledger report is exported to an accounting package then manual changes can be done in the accounting package.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed through to Product Management via parent ticket 119446369819 for resolution in a future release.
