Known issue (resolved): Leave management MyStaffInfo script error

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in MSI Console version 2012.02 and applies to both AU and NZ Payroll.

Issue

Support have confirmed when a Manager logs on to their MSI site and selects Leave Management then subsequently selects Manage Leave Requests, a scripting error appears viewleaveRequest.vfphtml with an error of “too many arguments”.

This also occurs when in the Enter Time screens in timesheet entry, or in the leave calendar, if anyone selects the <Everyone> group, or a group that has lots of employees, they will get the application error as below.

Image

The issue is that the Manager is assigned too many Employee Groups along with the All Employees group.

Workaround

Only the 'All Employees' group should be assigned to managers that need to view all employees leave.

Resolution
