MYOB Ace Payroll 3.53B resolves issues with the taxation on extra pays.

Installing your upgrade

To download and install the latest version from within MYOB Ace Payroll:

1. Back up your payroll data to an external drive or Ace Payroll online.
   You may need to be a windows administrator to do this.

2. Go to Utilities > Ace Payroll Online > Download an Upgrade.

3. Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
   When the upgrade is complete, MYOB Ace Payroll will restart automatically.

4. After Ace Payroll has restarted, press F5 and to confirm that you've successfully upgraded to version 3.53B.

Resolved issues

• The taxation of extra pay in a standard pay has been corrected to exclude any lump sum payments from the annualised calculation.

• The taxation of extra pay on a termination pay has been corrected to exclude any lump sum payments from the annualised calculation.

• The taxation of extra pay on a termination pay now respects any change in pay frequency during the look back period of two pays.
