Update Ace Payroll

Ace Payroll needs to be updated at least once a year to comply with changes to tax. You will be contacted by mail or email in March to remind you to upgrade. If you have not upgraded by March 31st each year, Ace Payroll will remind you to upgrade. 

One of the great benefits of having an MYOB subscription is being entitled to software updates - including the latest version of Ace Payroll.

The best time to install an upgrade is right after you file your regular payroll. We recommend reviewing your payroll setup for each employee at the start of the financial year, including their ESCT rates

To download an update from within Ace Payroll
  1. From the front screen, click Utilities > Ace Payroll Online > Download An Upgrade.
  2. Tick I Agree With These Terms, then follow the instructions.
To download an update from the MYOB website
  1. Go to our software downloads page at myob.com/nz/support/downloads
  2. Under Other Products, click MYOB Ace Payroll.
  3. Click on the download link of the latest version.
  4. Double-click the downloaded file to install Ace Payroll.
  5. When prompted, enter your version unlock code. Please contact our support team if you do not receive this through email.
