DCE Error (Client Side) - Windows Socket Error: No connection could be made...

This error indicates that the Client computer can't reach the Server at all.

Error screenshot/text

The error message is:

Windows socket error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it (10061), on API 'connect'

Resolving the error:

This error probably indicates that the SERVER does not allow the port through for some reason. Having the specific port we were using allowed through worked to allow connection. (This was due to external firewalls protecting the server.)

Everything to do with DCE Configuration should be referred to either your IT Administrators or your Exo Business Implementation Partners. These pages are highly technical and intended for your Partner to work through.
