Version 9.0 of MYOB Advanced Workforce Management is here, with new features to improve security, connectivity with MYOB Advanced Payroll software, and employee management, along with some smaller changes and fixes.

What's new?

Enhanced onboarding

We've added a new onboarding feature to MYOB Advanced Workforce Management. Once you turn it on, the new workflow will give you access to a more powerful, streamlined way of onboarding new hires, including:

A simpler, more intuitive interface
Customisable onboarding workflows – Reorder steps in a workflow, or make separate onboarding experiences for different positions and locations.
Easily manage qualification requirements.
A mobile-friendly experience for your new hires, that saves where they left off.

Sync employee details with MYOB Advanced Payroll and MYOB PayGlobal

MYOB Advanced Workforce Management can now send employee information to MYOB Advanced Payroll and MYOB PayGlobal.

This makes Advanced Workforce Management the single source of truth, improving efficiency and consistency with a connected employee management workflow.

Multi-factor authentication

All users with User permission list are required to sign in using multi-factor authentication.

MYOB Advanced Workforce Management is more secure than ever. We've added multi-factor authentication (MFA) to protect your employee data and keep you up-to-date with international security trends.

There are different options for authentication, including the Google Authenticator mobile app, available from Google Play and the Apple App Store.

What's changed?

Re-added the ability to delete an employee
Added success messages when updating and deleting Expense Types, Leave Types, Pay Types, Work Types, and their templates.
Added importers for clock in questions, expense types, and pay run templates.
Added support for group action in the rules engine to group timesheets for use by downstream conditions and actions.
Added expiry requirements & qualifications report.
Added support for "minimum length" action in the rules engine to support minimum length for grouped timesheets.
Improved UI around work rights in the employee profile screens.
Added timesheet and group options to daily and weekly limits, and paying per day or per week in the rules engine.
Replaced the word "Role" with "Permission Group" to reduce confusion with "Position".

What's fixed?

Fixed an issue when searching for super funds multiple times
Fixed the fund name carrying over when switching from an SMSF fund
Fixed displaying the wrong super fund fields after changing whether it's an SMSF fund and then cancelling the change
Remove seconds from break times when copying shifts/generating timesheets from clock events
Fixed MYOB pay run export to exclude breaks with 0 duration
