PayGlobal API

If you need PayGlobal to connect with other business systems, the PayGlobal API gives you a supported, REST-style way to move data in and out of PayGlobal Online for supported scenarios. It is designed for system-to-system integrations, so you can reduce manual rekeying, improve data accuracy, and move away from one-off file jobs where an API is the better fit.

What is the PayGlobal API

The PayGlobal API is a secure integration layer for PayGlobal Online. It lets external systems exchange data with PayGlobal through a supported and versioned interface, rather than relying on bespoke flat files or direct SQL access to the database.

It is best suited to organisations that want cleaner system-to-system integration, stronger validation and error handling, and a more scalable way to support automation across payroll and HR processes.

What it is currently best suited for

The current API focus is employee master and onboarding data, along with selected data-out scenarios. If your project sits in that space, the API is likely the first option to explore.  The API is under active development, please contact us to see if your business case is already under consideration.

Common examples could include:

  • onboarding data flowing from an ATS or HR system into PayGlobal

  • employee master data syncing between PayGlobal and other business systems

  • integrations with workforce management, time and attendance, finance, or digital worker platforms

When the API is a good fit

The PayGlobal API is usually a good fit when:

  • you need system-to-system integration rather than a formatted report

  • you want to reduce manual rekeying, duplicate handling, and reconciliation

  • you have an upcoming HR, payroll, onboarding, or automation project that needs supported access to PayGlobal data

  • you already have integration or middleware capability, or a partner helping you deliver it.

When another option may be better

The API will not be the right answer for every requirement. Review our guide below on common data management options for the best fit:

Technical documentation

The technical documentation is designed for development teams and integration partners. The Developer Guide covers prerequisites, authentication, environment details, and how to make requests. It includes MYOB ID client-credentials authentication, UAT and production endpoint information, and links through to the OpenAPI documentation.

What do I need before integrating?

Before integrating, you will need the right MYOB ID permissions and API credentials for the correct tenant and environment.

Need help deciding?

A good starting point is to think about three things:

  • what system needs to connect with PayGlobal

  • whether the output is for another system or for people to read

  • whether your project needs supported API integration for current employee and onboarding scenarios, or something broader

Your MYOB Account Manager can help you work through the initial high-level questions, identify the right path, discuss commercials and licensing, and connect you with MYOB Services for scope and implementation support.
