Data on demand (Reporting & Analytics)

If you need secure, scheduled access to PayGlobal data for BI, analytics, compliance, or broader reporting, PayGlobal Data-on-Demand gives you a managed way to get that data out of PayGlobal Online without relying on database backups, manual exports, or direct SQL access.

Data-on-Demand is designed for data-out use cases. It provides scheduled, read-only extracts of agreed PayGlobal data sets so customers can load them into their own reporting and analytics environment.

What Data-on-Demand is

PayGlobal Data-on-Demand is a managed data replication (change data capture or CDC) service from PayGlobal Online. It prepares scheduled extracts of selected PayGlobal tables and writes them to a secure, customer-specific S3 bucket, which the customer then connects to and ingests into their own data warehouse, data lake, or BI stack.

It is designed to support reporting and analytics use cases with structured data in formats such as CSV and Parquet, rather than transaction-by-transaction operational integration.

What it is best suited for

Data-on-Demand is best suited to customers who want scheduled payroll and workforce data for:

  • BI dashboards and analytics

  • compliance and statutory reporting

  • operational reporting across payroll, HR, finance, leave, and workforce data

  • moving from on-premises SQL or backup-based data access to a supported PayGlobal Online pattern

Typical data groups can include payroll core, leave and entitlements, employee and HR data, financial and GL data, compliance reporting data, and broader management or ad hoc reporting needs.

When Data-on-Demand is a good fit

  • you need scheduled data feeds for reporting, analytics, or warehousing

  • you want a more governed alternative to manual flat-file exports, backups, or direct database access

  • you want to choose the tables and fields that support agreed reporting outputs, rather than exposing everything by default

  • you already have, or plan to use, your own data warehouse, data lake, BI tools, or ETL process

When another option may be better

Delivery model and formats

Data-on-Demand supports scheduled full extracts and ongoing delta-based updates, depending on the agreed design and schedule.

The default pattern is a single extract every 24 hours, with additional schedules possible where agreed.

Extracts are structured by table and are typically delivered in CSV or Parquet format.

What customers need on their side

You should expect to have, or arrange access to:

  • basic database and data-structure knowledge

  • the ability to manage and validate data feeds, including ongoing delta updates

  • BI or reporting tools that can import and transform extracted data

  • a warehouse, lake, mart, or similar downstream data environment

  • secure data management, privacy, and compliance processes

If this capability is not available internally, customers may engage a technical consultant, managed IT provider, or implementation partner to support onboarding, integration, and reporting setup.

Planning a project?

A good starting point is to confirm:

  • what reporting, BI, or compliance outcomes you want to support

  • which data groups, tables, and fields are actually needed

  • how often the data needs to refresh

  • where the data will be loaded and who will manage it after delivery
