Synchronising employees with MYOB Acumatica — Payroll
If integration between MYOB Acumatica — Workforce Management and MYOB Acumatica — Payroll has been set up (see Integrating with MYOB Advanced Payroll), then when employees are created in MYOB Acumatica — Workforce Management, matching employee records are automatically created in MYOB Acumatica — Payroll. Employees can be created in two ways:
By an employee following the steps in How do I complete the onboarding process? When the employee clicks Submit at the end of the process, the information they entered is used to create the employee record in MYOB Acumatica — Payroll.
By a manager clicking the + button on the Creating a new employee manually. After the manager completes the Add New Employee form and clicks Add Employee, the information they entered is used to create the employee record in MYOB Acumatica — Payroll.
The employee record in payroll is set up as follows:
The personal information, including contact and address details, entered by the employee/manager is added to the employee record.
Pay items for employees are added for salary employee. For wages employee, income or leave taken are coming from timesheet, super pay item or deductions will be setup in standard pay.
Superannuation/KiwiSaver pay items are added to the employee's Standard Pay where possible. (This depends on whether or not pay items matching the employee's superannuation choices have been set up in MYOB Acumatica — Payroll.)
The bank account details entered by the employee during the onboarding process are added to the employee record.
In Australia, the employee record contains the TFN declaration details entered by the employee during the onboarding process.
In NZ, the employee's Definition of a Week is populated depending on the type of worker:
Salary employees use their standard hours, synced from WFM.
Waged employees use the work schedule, or fixed hours or days if applicable.
Other employee details are populated with the defaults set up in MYOB Acumatica — Payroll.
The employee record is assigned an Employee ID by MYOB Acumatica — Payroll - this ID is displayed in MYOB Acumatica — Workforce Management in the Reference field on the employee’s Your employee profile.
The Employee Sync Issues Report displays any issues that occurred when MYOB Acumatica — Workforce Management attempted to send employee information to MYOB Acumatica — Payroll.
