Lieu Days

Lieu time increases if a person works on a statutory holiday, and decreases if an employee takes a lieu day that they were owed. Lieu Days require the days to pay and the cost centre to be entered.

To pay Lieu Days leave, enter either "L" or "6" as the payment type.

Days Worked If there has been a statutory holiday in the current pay period on which the employee worked and should be owed a day in lieu, enter the number of days owed into this field.

Days Taken If the employee will be taking a Lieu Day (paid as wages) as opposed to being at work for a day, enter the number of days taken into this field.

Cost Centre This is the cost centre assigned to the leave payment. The cost centre name will also be displayed.
