Why can't I publish all shifts on the roster?

If you are attempting to publish all shifts in the roster, but the Publish button is displaying the error "couldn't publish shifts", the reason for this is typically because there is one or more clashing shifts in the roster. These are typically identified as red or highlighted shifts and include scenarios where the sample employee is rostered on shifts that are overlapping, or if that employee is rostered at a time which clashes with their declared unavailability. The system prevents publishing until this situation is resolved.

Users can publish individual locations with no clashes in them and leave only the clashing locations for publishing at a later time.
