Setting up broadcast messages

Broadcast messaging lets you send news, action items and other updates to your employees using MYOB Advanced Workforce Management.

To set up broadcast messaging, turn the feature on in Company Settings. If you use custom permisson groups you will also need to add the appropriate permissions.

Turn broadcast messaging on

To turn broadcast messaging on you need to be a member of the Admin permission group.

  1. Go to Management > Settings > Company Settings.

  2. Open the Features tab.

  3. For Enable broadcast messaging, select Yes.

  4. Click Save.

Add broadcast messaging access to custom permission groups

If you use custom permission groups, you need to add the Post Messages and View Messages permission to enable this feature for these employees.
