Reviewing and approving your team's leave requests

As a manager, you can approve or reject a leave request by clicking the Approve or Reject icons of the leave entry in the Leave Requests page.

Click the Leave link in the header. You will be redirected to Manage Leave page.

On this page, you will see all leave requests submitted by employees. By default, all Pending past and future leave requests are displayed. If "Approved" or "Declined" is selected from the Status dropdown, a date picker will be displayed so you can choose a date range to display.

The icons in the Actions column let you perform various actions on each leave request

  • To edit a leave request, click the pencil icon of the leave entry you want to approve - see How do I edit an existing leave/unavailability request?
  • To approve a leave request, click the tick icon of the leave entry you want to approve.
  • To reject a leave request, click the cross icon of the leave entry you want to reject. A popup appears - enter the required fields as to the reason why you want to reject the leave, then click the Decline button.
