Fixing unpaid leave with a cost

In most cases, the cost of any unpaid leave on a timesheet should be zero. If a pay type incorrectly shows a cost, like in the example below, you can fix it by setting the cost to zero in pay type settings.

Setting the cost of a pay type to zero

  1. Go to Settings > Pay Types and edit the pay type causing the problem (e.g. unpaid leave).
  2. Enter 0 in either the Fixed amount or Multiplier of base rate field and save the change.
  3. Go back to your pay run to confirm the cost is now correct.
